Toy Safety EU 2025/2509 Readiness Check (https://toysafety.sellerguardrails.com) is operated by José Manuel Volante González (the "operator", "we", "us"), identified in full in the legal notice. The operator is the data controller for the limited personal data described below.
What this site is
This is a free, public, informational tool. There are no user accounts, no registration, no login and no sign-up form. You can use the entire readiness ledger without providing any personal data. All calculations run in your browser; the toy category, age band and substance answers you enter into the form are not transmitted to or stored by us.
Data we process
- Technical/server data. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) processes the data inherent in delivering web pages — IP address, user-agent and timestamp — in short-lived server logs for security, abuse prevention and to keep the service available. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating a secure site.
- Aggregated, cookieless analytics. If enabled, we use a privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics measure that records aggregate page-view counts without profiling you or setting identifiers. The lawful basis is legitimate interest in understanding which tools are useful.
- Correspondence. If you email us, we process your message and contact details to reply. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not sell personal data, do not run advertising profiling, and do not transfer your form inputs to any third party.
Data retention
Server logs are kept only for the short period required for security and diagnostics and are then deleted or anonymised. Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
International transfers
Where our hosting provider processes data outside the EEA, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise any right, email microtools.contact@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, https://www.aepd.es) or your local supervisory authority.
